Not a sunflower.. so what is it

Does anyone know what this mystery plant might be? My friend James has it growing where he expected sunflowers and has asked me to identify it. Beyond the fact that the flowers look a bit like brassica flowers, I'm stumped. Can anyone else do better?

After a bit of digging around and searching on the internet, i think it's the Sinapis arvensis http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=Sinapis%20arvensis&hl=en . If it isn't then it's very similar!

Thank you for the identification, Liz. It's coming straight out, and I'll put something a little more predictable in its place..!

Just a quick further comment.. my mother-in-law had exactly the same plant growing in her garden, also just below a bird-feeders, so we're suspecting that's where it came from!

Cheers
