Green Thumb Sunday: Orange

All my own work this week - the nasturtiums are growing one of the raised beds and the marigolds are keeping my tomatoes company in the windowboxes out front.

I love marigolds. I now grow them from seed as you certainly get plenty. Your flowers are very colourful and pretty.

Stunning photos. I don't have marigolds and didn't realize they were so beautiful close up.

Are the nasturtiums to eat or for their lovely colour and hoe successful are the marigolds from keeping pests from the tomatoes?

I haven't tried eating the nasturtiums yet, but the chickens seem to like them!

And as far as the marigolds go, I have yet to have a pest problem on my tomatoes :o)
